  • This project proposes and implements a model of recovery to move Central United Methodist Church (Rogers, Ark) from brokenness to wholeness following a division over plans to relocate. Conflict becomes a catalyst to transform the congregation from dysfunctional to healthy. The project conducts a retreat for congregational leaders and a series of three worship services that focus on past, present, and future. Attendance and participation increase, and the church votes to proceed with major building plans.
