- Abstract
- The project contends that similar behavioral styles between pastor and parish are more beneficial and necessary for successful ministry than are similar theologies. According to William Glasser, behavior is expressed by feeling, thinking and doing (modeled in Acts by Peter, Stephen and Paul). The project determines the compatability of the behavioral styles of one parish and one pastor by discovering the paradigmatic narrative of each. It confirms those styles by objective testing. The methodology and test instruments are offered as a manual for other pastors and parishes which seek to determine their own styles and thus their own compatibility.
