Abstract
  • The purpose of this project/practicum is to develop an instrument to determine if the curriculum and teaching in small church Sunday school is sufficient to teach basic Bible knowledge and spiritual disciplines. The setting for the research done to complete the project was in smaller churches with school enrollments of less than 300. The practicum was conducted over a five-month period. A survey was constructed for students eight to eleven years old with questions concerning Bible knowledge and spirituality. Teachers were also surveyed to determine their satisfaction with the current curriculum. Results were tabulated and conclusions formed from these questionnaires.
