Abstract

The purpose of this project was to research and profile American single adults to create a ministry launch guide for American churches distributed by Table for One Ministries (www.tfministries.org). The project director aspired to engage local churches to reach and disciple single adults in a manner relevant to their ministry setting. As single adult ministries have waned, few models exist to reach the population in an adaptable way with local church environments, and this project addressed that need. The project director researched the state of single's ministry in the United States. In this research the project director conducted two major approaches to study. Fastest growing churches in America and a sample of Southern Baptist Churches were contacted for survey. From this research a ministry launch guide for churches was created for implementation to reach single adults in their local communities.
