Abstract
  • The purpose of the project was to develop a strategic plan to facilitate a church planting movement in the province of Santiago Rodriguez, Dominican Republic, utilizing the Vision Team of the Lauderdale Baptist Association of Mississippi. The demographics within the province of Santiago Rodriguez and the Dominican Republic were explored along with current strategies for evangelism and church planting. A strategy was developed to facilitate a church planting movement among the various population segments of Santiago Rodriguez. Presentation for approval by regional leadership of the Middle American and Caribbean Region of the International Mission Board and the Evangelism Committee of the Lauderdale Baptist Association and the initial engagement of the first mission teams encompassed the scope of this project.
