Abstract

The research in this thesis is based upon analysis of New Testament background information, studies of Epistle verses, references of Bible commentaries and previous special topic researches. Chapter one outlines the fundamental research of background information regarding the city, the church and the books of the Thessalonians. Chapter two contains the analysis of the contents of Paul's messages to the Thessalonian church based on biblical truth and faith. Chapter three concerns the study of Paul's missionary strategies in Thessalonica, including his selection of location and people for ministering, his methods of raising the church, his teachings, his working with his own hands, his team ministry and his obedience under the authority of the Holy Spirit. Chapter four presents the study of the principles of church planting and evangelistic ministries for Vineyard Christian Fellowship based on Paul's strategies for Thessalonica. Chapter five offers the conclusion for this thesis.
