This project represents the author's efforts to organize social justice committees in Catholic parishes during an election year. The author conducted this 'political responsibility campaign' in his ministry of promoting peace and justice for the Diocese of Fort Worth. The project includes a number of ways to educate citizens regarding their political responsibilities and the critical social issues under debate in political campaigns. The project further demonstrates how the church may have a positive impact in the political arena without becoming partisan or causing undue controversy.
