- Abstract
- Damascus Road Missionary Baptist Church, Pensacola, Florida, is the project context. The hypothesis is if persons undergo a training model in effective collaboration the culture will change and cause the church to be effective in achieving its mission. A mixed methodology of qualitative and quantitative methods was used to measure attitudinal change. The workshops addressed the issues that hindered effective collaboration, team building, trust building, Myers Briggs Type Indicator and personal and spiritual development. The workshops resulted in continuous improvement activities, a refocus on the mission of the church and a plan for more workshops on collaboration and leadership development.
