Abstract
  • Jesus' friends, living in community, are called to be passionate, evangelistic persons who understand the universal call of evangelization, and choose to give preference to the poor in their focus of ministry. The passion of this evangelical community flows from intimacy with Jesus as friend, deep love for life and other human persons. The evangelical mission of Jesus' friends, living in community, bringing about the reign of God, transforming society, is best effected by truly living out a commitment to the poor.
