Abstract
  • Scripture reveals a relational ethic regarding the will of God for humanity, most clearly identified in the ministry and resurrection of Jesus Christ. By exploring the themes found within this ethic, the contentious differences of interpretation surrounding God's will for human sexuality can be examined and assessed. A thirteen session curriculum identifies and explores the elements and application of this Relational Ethic to interpersonal relationships and establishes relational guidelines between the course participants. Surveys assessing each learner and a control group before and after the course demonstrate the course's effectiveness in addressing the moral and theological ambiguity surrounding homosexuality.
