- Abstract
- This study developed a program which would aid in the spirutal development of alienated people through a self encounter weekend experience which focused on the relationship of the person with self, others, and God. Lesbians, a group which experiences a dual alienation (as women and as homosexual people), were the project's target group. The two phases of the study were 1) the development of a planning team from the alienated which developed the encounter experience, and 2) the actual self encounter. All of the participants experienced some growth in reconciliation within themselves, with others, or with God.
