Abstract
  • The author researched art, culture, and worship in a small church ethos. Though small member congregations are challenged by lack of resources, meaningful multimedia worship using art is possible. She found it challenging to balance technology with tradition, and to separate the secular from the sacred. Attending to the awareness of the variety of art forms, learning styles, ages, and cultures allows people to worship in meaningful ways. Current and historical controversies continue concerning images, icons, and idolatry. Worship using art involves preparation, presentation, and processing. Included are DVD, CD and images of PowerPoint presentations.
