Abstract

The purpose of the project was to equip adult LIFE group leaders at the First Baptist Church of West Monroe, Louisiana, to become leaders in disciple making. The project involved research in the field of disciple making in various contexts. The project director developed lesson plans and led the equipping seminar. Fourteen adult LIFE group teachers participated. Seminar participants evaluated their own spiritual vitality through the use of a personal spiritual inventory. At the end of the equipping seminar, the participants took a post-test assessment and had the opportunity to sign a covenant to become leaders in disciple making in the life of the church.
