Abstract
  • The Global War on Terrorism has necessitated the deployment of the United States Guard and Reserve forces. Interviews conducted with soldiers deploying in support of Operation Enduring Freedom demonstrated that the transition from the civilian to military sector can be overwhelming. This thesis will demonstrate how Christian National Guard and Reserve soldiers can, through a biblical framework, transition into the Army as their workplace. The resulting six-week course is a tool that can be used by military chaplains to guide soldiers through this transition.
