  • The main objective of this project is to provide statistical data which will show that religious groups do have a positive effect on the rehabilitation of probationers. Questionnaires were given to Black men who have been placed on probation by the criminal justice system of the District of Columbia. The Black male probationer was asked what religion meant to him, how does religion effect him and his relationships, and what was his understanding of God.
