Abstrakt

The project assumes a lack of understanding of financial stewardship in many churches within the North American Baptist Conference. The goal of the project is to provide pastors with a tithing seminar experience. Data, collected from 71 pastors through a survey questionnaire, was analyzed and a seminar developed to stimulate an interest in tithing. A four-week tithing program was implemented in a test local church by a pastor who attended a tithing seminar. The pastors were equipped to assist believers and exposed to resources to help them lead to a tithing emphasis. The final tithing seminar was developed for use among the pastors of the Conference.
