Abstract

The project used experimental and control groups of randomly selected church members from Pike County, Mississippi. The experimental group participated in a five hour training seminar. Both groups took an objective test. Each member of the groups was evaluated as he or she led a decision-making encounter. A comparison of the scores of the experimental and control groups was the basis of the project evaluation. The evaluation indicated that the project was very successful in training those who work with committees in group decision making.
