Abstrakt

The goal of this project was to encourage lay leaders to become involved in a caring ministry within the local congregation. It traced the biblical concept of covenant relationships through the Old and New Testaments. An existing group of cluster leaders was structured in a class setting for twelve hours of study. By using Bibles, commentaries and class discussion, this group came to a new awareness of the significance of a caring and compassionate ministry.
