Abstract
  • The evangelical church continues to struggle in historically Catholic but ever-increasing secular Poland. Though church planting efforts have increased since the fall of the Berlin Wall, little fruit is evidenced. What are the best practices of healthy church plants in Poland, and what can be learned from them? From nine churches deemed healthy, had been planted since 2005, and had grown to more than 50 in attendance were selected as case study churches. Church health was assessed based on the four-selves model of self-propagating, self-governing, self-supporting, and self-theologizing. Then the findings were gathered, summarized, and reflected upon.
