Abstracto

The author researched the effect on Christ-followers of a twelve-week spiritual formation class plus the practice of spiritual disciplines on their practice of the presence of God. It looked at how they changed as a result of that practice. The Christian spiritual participation profile was used to measure the balance of and depth of participation in: their experience with God, their critical reflection of culture and self, their interaction with God's Word, and their relationship with others. The quantitative and qualitative findings supported the hypothesis that there would be growth in personal transformation.
