Abstract
  • Several former Roman Catholic priests embark upon a spiritual journey toward the Anglican church in Peru, with an ever-present call and intentional desire to continue exercising their priestly ministry. A foundation of Christian ministry is constructed with the study of several chapters of the gospel of John, Ephesians, and First Peter. Next, basic principles of ordained ministry are gleaned from known ancient and classic theologians and key documents like the Anglican Thirty-Nine Articles. This dissertation concludes that ordained ministers should be carefully chosen and trained, because they are called to become disciples and holy ministers of God's grace.
