- Abstract
- This study recounts a research action in ministry which tested a process for its effectiveness in enabling women to identify steps toward relating to their denominations in ways that promote their full humanity. Qualitative, feminist methodology was used to design a process which included storytelling, theological reflection and social analysis. Participating in the research were women from Roman Catholic and Protestant denominations. This study reveals that building self-esteem among women and fostering women-bonding are essential preliminary steps for developing denominational relationships that promote the full humanity of women.
