Abstract
  • Based on surveys, questionnaires, and interviews, this project thesis addresses the question: 'Given that the RLDS Church is becoming a church of peace, reconciliation and healing of the spirit and that it is an evangelistic church, how can the children's Gospel Wagon which deals with Jesus as peacemaker, have an impact on the Woodburn, Oregon congregation in the Pacific Northwest region where some Hispanic children, youth, and adults of Mexican origin are acquainted with the church and where seventy are involved? The Gospel Wagon is an evangelistic tool that combines witnessing and peace. Nevertheless, it is only an introductory tool which will need to be followed with other intentional outreach activities such as small groups or a Jesus Club where youth and children could be taught more about Jesus.
