- Abstract
- This project in ministry investigates the praxis of preaching within the Eucharist of the Roman Catholic Church by non-ordained persons. The first step in this investigation was an empirical survey of the extent to which preaching is being done. Survey participants were non-ordained Dominicans involved in preaching ministries. It provides background for the present situation, reports the findings of the empirical study, holds the data up for reflection and confronts it with pertinent ecclesial questions. The report concludes with a recommendation for an 'interim' practical approach to preaching today.
