- Abstract
- This thesis highlights the need for churches in the city to engage in collaborative evangelism. Often several churches in the same community evangelize the same people, each then vying for the new converts. There is a better way: collaboration, documentation, and fellowship. Therefore, Chapter one identified biblical patterns of evangelism juxtaposed with evangelistic methods today in St. Albans, NY. Chapter two and three discuss the interrelated theological and anthropological dynamic in collaboration. Chapter four uses the Hexagon exercise with a learning team of neighboring pastors to develop a working methodology. Chapter five recommends ways to manage diversity and unity, while reevaluating method, mission, and ministry in the city.
