Abstract
  • Prayer is a vital component to the overall spiritual well being of a congregation of believers in Jesus Christ. The project director attempted to use the Lord's Prayer as a model in leading a small group of individuals of Sharon Baptist Church into a deeper understanding of prayer and God with the goal of establishing a prayer ministry at the church. The project's objective was facilitated through the development of teaching materials, a process of discipleship on prayer, and an empowerment of the discipled to disciple others. Research and evaluation were conducted through journals, discussions, group notes, assessment surveys, and personal inventories.
