- Abstract
- The project approaches the parables of Jesus from a historical, transitional, theological, and interpretive perspective. It becomes evident that the parables will not be confined to a particularized definition. The only peace one can make with them is to confirm that they are vibrantly alive and unfinished in their continual impact upon Christians. The basic thrust of the parables seems to convey messages about the Kingdom of God. The application of these Kingdom of God messages may be utilized in public worship, parabolical writings and church school curriculum. Examples of these are found in this paper.
