Abstract
  • As the United States continues to develop as a multi-faith society, religious leaders must offer models of interfaith dialogue that facilitate understanding and acceptance of the other, as well as deepen the faith of participants in dialogue. This project examines interfaith pilgrimage as such a model of interfaith relationship building. Jewish, Muslim, and Christian participants of a ten-day World Pilgrims journey to Jordan and Israel provide the data that gives evidence of personal faith renewal as well as increased understanding and acceptance of the other.
