- Abstract
- This doctor of ministry project is a study of hope as it relates to the church and clinical setting. It focuses particularly on the importance of hope within the African-American community. The questions addressed in this study are: Can hope be measured? Is hope more important for one culture than another? Is there a reason to hope? The study utilizes data from two congregations and data from two case studies.
