Abstract
  • To increase the interest and activity in evangelism among the members of the Convent Avenue Baptist Church in New York City the author designed a curriculum to assist members in sharing their Christian beliefs with others. A method developed by James and Evelyn Eaton Whitehead in their book Method in Ministry enabled the author to identify and name the problem; imagine alternative ways of solving the problem; and determine the right response. After the course ended three of five members who took the course utilized the course material to witness and answer questions asked by non-Christians.
