Abstract
  • This project proposes that missional intentionality is the local church's proper theological and practical response to God's calling for missional faithfulness. Employing proactive, qualitative research methods via seminar presentations, survey instruments, focus groups, interviews, and reflexive journals, this project seeks to discover the missional insights and interests of the local church and to challenge the local church in missional faithfulness. This project concludes that University Church of God is truly a missional church with deep aspirations for continued missional faithfulness and proposes a joyful model of a missional church stretching to connect for its extended pursuit of this calling.
