Abstract
  • The purpose of this project is to develop a biblically based study to encourage a Christian lifestyle of simplicity in daily economic choices. This study is designed to motivate people through consciousness-raising to link the faith they possess to the way they behave economically. The project consisted of an 8-week study conducted at the United Methodist Church (Wellston, Oklahoma). A 165-page workbook was provided for use during the study. The project evaluation indicates that the course was effective in achieving its goals, while also covering too much material in too short a time frame.
