Abstract
  • The intersection of Muslim culture and Christian faith is crucial to addressing the issue of peace in the world. Government policies in some states in northern Nigeria are tilted to favor Muslims. The enforcement of the sharia legal system in twelve northern states in Nigeria has marginalized the Christians and made the mission and evangelism of the Church difficult. The innovation by the Wusasa Diocese to reach out using techniques like personal evangelism, discipleship, dialogue, education and poverty alleviation programmes are yielding results. Muslims are coming to know Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Dialogue has helped to minimize violence and has promoted mutual understanding between Christians and Muslims. This thesis will examine the work of the diocese in integrating Muslims into the Christian community.
