Abstract
  • The thesis is a presentation of a modern context for ministry derived from a fresh understanding of the context of St Paul's ministry. The autobiographical study draws a parallel to Paul's form of ministry. Likewise, a systematic theology for living in today's world also implicates a parallel to the theology of Paul. The conclusions from the study present an Americanized model that not only broadens the horizon for proclaiming the gospel, but also presents an old parallel to the theology of Paul. The conclusions from the study present an Americanized model that not only broadens the horizon for proclaiming the gospel, but also presents an old paradigm that could be useful for the church as it faces a shortage of clergy.
