Abstract
  • This project explores the belief that lies at the heart of a church's mission: that God is present 'building community,' 'enlivening our faith,' and present in the 'caring ministry that we extend to one another.' Discovery of the paschal mystery within the life experience of 63 families and individual members of Saint John's Roman Catholic Church in Jordan, Minnesota, leads the author to suggest a theology of incarnation to support parish community, worship, service, and teaching. Through this study the project promotes a deeper appreciation and participation in the sacraments as a way to further the mission of Saint John's parish.
