Abstract

The purpose of this project was to equip a select group of believers of Judson Baptist Church in Walker, Louisiana, to be involved in missions according to an Acts 1:8 strategy. The development of a training plan for mobilizing participants to be involved in missions included comprehensive research and followed an Acts 1:8 approach to global evangelism. Comprised of six didactic sessions built into a workshop format, the equipping portion of the project addressed biblical study as well as missions-related opportunities to pray, give, and go within the modern geographical counterparts of Acts 1:8.
