- The purpose of this project was to equip selected church leaders of Tallapoosa Baptist Association in Alabama to implement church discipline as a ministry of restoration. The components of the project included researching the historical, theological, ecclesiological, and modern practices of church discipline. The project director enlisted experts to help establish a standard for both research and workshop component quality. The project director's professional goals included increased knowledge of church discipline as a ministry of restoration for church members who have fallen into sin. The project director sought to develop skills in equipping churches to do the ministry of restoration through church discipline.
