- The purpose of this project was to equip senior adults and youth with the skills necessary to establish mentoring relationships for the spiritual growth of the youth at First Baptist Church, Big Spring, Texas. After an entrance interview, the senior adults and youth participated in six group training sessions lasting at least one hour. The sessions consisted of studies involving generational differences, mentoring basics, and relationship building suggestions. The curriculum utilized lectures, group discussions, and surveys as vehicles to achieve the goals set for this project.
