Abstract
  • This project proposes that a healthy church can provide support to dependent or codependent Christians by conflating the 'twelve steps' of Alcoholics Anonymous with the Christian gospel to bring healing to the whole Christian. The project offers suggestions for church-based Christian support groups based on a 16-month pilot program, 'Twelve Steps with God,' evaluated by participant questionnaires and case studies.
