  • This project sought to enhance worship at First Baptist Church of Ahoskie by engaging the creativity and artistry of worshipers. Because human beings are created in the Image of God (the first Creator), and are therefore creative beings, perhaps it is in offering our creativity before God that we might have a fuller awareness of God's presence within worship. Participants attended educational sessions, workshops, and shared their original creations in worship. Post-project survey data confirm the positive outcomes of the worship project. This project is a practical guide for congregational leaders seeking to incorporate the arts and creativity into worship.
