Abstract
  • This exploration of adult spiritual development based on biblical theology, Jungian psychology and adult developmental studies presupposes a two-fold premise: that the task of the second half of life is inner spiritual development and that religion must take this task seriously and enable its realization. A project of sharing, study, prayer, growth and reflection, it produced a model designed to translate learnings into parish, community and other contexts. Learning models related to the pastor as a spiritual director, the use of dreams in one's spiritual growth, and a process model to enhance self-development within the context of marriage.
