- Abstract
- This project implements a systems approach to leadership development in the local church, resulting in the development and mobilization of lay-led, indigenous church planting teams and creating an environment for the catalyzation of church planting movements. The project focuses on the development of church planting teams in the local house church through intentional leadership development, utilizing mentoring, learning modules, and practical ministry tasks, in order to develop character, knowledge, and ministry skills through customized training. The biblical basis for the formation and development of church planting teams within the local house church assisted by itinerant co-workers is presented in detail.
