Abstract
  • A growing number of churches in America have become irrelevant and many are closing their doors. Much of this is due to a combination of an inward focus and allowing pragmatism to supersede the biblical practice of intercessory prayer and evangelism. The purpose of this Doctor of Ministry Project was to increase the level of evangelistic participation of a select group from East Boulder Baptist Church after an extended focus on intercessory prayer. The health of any church will improve tremendously when its members regularly abide in Christ, intercede for the lost, and rely on the Holy Spirit to inspire and empower their compassionate proclamation of the gospel.
