Abstract
  • The intent of this project was to initiate a home fellowship group ministry by informing the church concerning the small group concept, calling for commitments from church members to the initial phase of home meetings, training group leaders, and initiating a trial phase of home fellowship meetings. For four weeks the pastor utilized sermons, bulletins, announcements, and newsletters to inform. Group leaders were trained in a retreat format. For three months, five groups met in homes twice each month. After the final evaluation the church voted to make the home fellowship groups a continuing ministry of the church.
