Abstract
  • Revival is the work of God in the lives of Christians and results in a renewed love for and obedience to God. The church does not consistently and devotedly follow the Lord. Revival is thus a corrective step on God's part. The renewal conditions of 2 Chr 7:14--humility, prayer, seeking God, and repentance can be applied to Christians today. The concept of revival was studied in a small group setting. The conditions of revival in 2 Chr 7:14 were examined in a series of sermons. The study and messages resulted in a clearer perspective on the need for and nature of revival. It led us closer to experiencing this gracious work of God.
