Abstract
  • This project evaluates from a biblical perspective the perceived effectiveness on pastoral leadership of the D.Min. program in six prominent Protestant seminaries in the United States. Some 150 D.Min. graduates of these institutions rated twenty-six leadership characteristics (taken from the example of the life of the Aposte Paul) as to their importance as qualities of a church leader annd the perceived effect their training had toward developing them. The project includes sections in the biblical and historical perspectives of pastoral leadership, and recommendations for potential students.
