Abstrait

This project intends to assist the Sarawak Chinese Methodist pastors, in particular, and all pastors, in general, in knowing and applying the essential elements of relevant application in preaching through a teaching seminar on these elements. The researcher invited six Chinese-speaking pastors of different ages, genders, languages, and church sizes to cassette-tape three sermons before and another three after the teaching seminar. The sermons were evaluated according the list of essential elements designed for this project. The pre-test and post-test results showed that the pastors used 47% and 73% respectively of the elements, an improvement of 28%.
