Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to provide an educational opportunity through which a group from First Baptist Church (Scottsboro, Alabama) might gain a more developed God-image. God-image is defined in this project as who God is, how God works in the world and how God feels about us. A 'more developed' God-image must include a vulnerable side of God. Particular emphasis was placed on the providence of God. When it comes to the daily business of living, few subjects have greater pastoral implications and challenges than God-image. The conclusions reached in this project were twofold. First, what one believes about God is important. Secondly, how one feels about God is more important than what one believes.
