Abstract
  • In the United States, divorce has become an acceptable, often attractive, method for resolving conflict in marriage, while the resulting pain and dislocation are hidden from the public view. A consequence is that young people are led to think a troubled marriage may be discarded conveniently. The purpose of this project is to bring together biblical references and values, a study of current literature and insights gained from a survey of the attitudes of youth, to produce a program which influences young people in their attitudes and expectations regarding marriage. Chapter 4 of the dissertation contains an outline of the thirteen classes.
