Abstract
  • Seniors in high school are at the jumping off place of graduation, and as such are on the cusp between late adolescence and emerging adulthood. Given that they are finishing the developmental work of identity formation and embarking on the developmental task of 'making meaning,' of 'finding their place in the world,' what is an effective paradigm for the senior year Bible course in the Christian high school? This thesis project proposes an essential questions based paradigm for the course that is centered upon Jesus' 'I am the way, truth, and life' statement in John 14.
